Most Creative Man On EARTH

Tech Innovation with Music, for Music and by Music
Marshall has been musician since 10 but not until after technology began to make its serious impact on pop. With inspiration from rock star and producer, Todd Rundgren, and a little from his keyboardist Roger Powell, Marshall propelled himself on a journey beyond even his hero's reach, returning with information not of this Earth.

Double proof of concept - Todd 2000, in an, "I never would've guessed" power trio line-up, doing his space rock tune Ikon, years later - without the normal synthesizer support. Todd could've really used my EDPREPS then!
I'n 1986 Marshall invented DEMI sampling with the CASIO K-1 which enabled it to create stunning, multi-track sounding live performances that rivaled what Todd Rundgren had been doing with much more sophisticated samplers prio to that. In the clip below, the 3rd track is a portion of the first recording Marshall ever made with the first song he wrote with DEMI samoking, called, Pogo. The instruments and voacls were performed with the single sample with the drums added separately. There are no synthesizers nor synthesizer sounds sampled.

Left: Marshall Barnes in 1986 filming a demo using the Casio SK-1 with one of his DEMI samples loaded in it and wearing one of the sweat shirts for his music project, The Artlab.
Right: Marshall's remix of the song, James Bond Double 0, with low key "hyper mix" treatment that increases the repeatability of the song and will increase requests for radio airplay.
